Auburn To Meet Clemson New Year’s Eve In Chick-Fil-A Bowl

The No. 22-ranked Auburn Tigers will meet No. 15 Clemson in the 40th annual Chick-fil-A Bowl Monday night in the Georgia Dome. The game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT and be nationally televised by ESPN.

QUAN PROWELL’S 25 POINTS LEADS TIGERS TO 79-59 VICTORY OVER TOWSON

Quan Prowell scored a game-high 25 points and tied a career-best with 11 rebounds to lead the Tigers to a 79-59 victory over Towson Saturday afternoon in front of 3,938 fans at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum.

The No. 22 Auburn football team wrapped up its preparations for the 2007 Chick-fil-A Bowl with a 90-minute practice Saturday morning at the Georgia Dome. The Tigers will battle No. 15 Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Bowl Monday evening.

The No. 22 Auburn football team continued its preparations for the Dec. 31 Chick-fil-A Bowl match-up against No. 15 Clemson with a two-hour workout Friday. The Tigers practiced for the first time at the Georgia Dome, after working out the previous two days at Georgia Tech.

Freshman Alli Smalley scored 15 points and Sherell Hobbs added 12 to help No. 15 Auburn hold off Davidson 66-59 on Friday in the Saint Joseph’s Hawk Classic. DeWanna Bonner added nine points and 12 rebounds for the Tigers (12-1). Danielle Hemerka scored 13 points and Honna Housley added 11 for the Wildcats (6-5).

Auburn Men’s Basketball Team Delivers Christmas Toys to East Alabama Medical Center

The Auburn men’s basketball team took time out from its preparations for Saturday’s 1 pm home game against Alabama A&M to deliver Christmas toys to children in the East Alabama Medical Center Friday. The Tigers spent an hour in the hospital spreading Christmas cheer to patients, their families and nurses. The Auburn coaching staff also passed out many Alabama A&M tickets to hospital personnel for Saturday’s game.

Auburn University (AU or Auburn) is a state university located in Auburn, Alabama, USA.
