Auburn committed a pair of costly errors in the seventh and eighth innings that allowed Troy to score a total of three unearned runs as Auburn fell at Troy, 5-4, on Wednesday night in front of a stadium record crowd of 2,586 at Riddle-Pace Field.

Track. Auburn Track And Field Hosts Tiger Track Classic This Friday And Saturday

The Auburn men’s and women’s track and field teams host their first outdoor meet of the season when the Tiger Track Classic takes places this Friday and Saturday at Hutsell-Rosen Track. It will be the first of just two home meets for Auburn, which also hosts the Auburn Invitational April 16-17.

W. Tennis. No. 50 Women’s Tennis Set for Road Swing to No. 29 Arkansas, LSU

The No. 50 Auburn women’s tennis team (8-6, 2-4) will take on the No. 29 Arkansas Razorbacks (12-7, 2-4) Friday, April 2 in Fayetteville in a battle for sole possession of second-place in the SEC West that is followed by a trip to Baton Rouge to play LSU (6-12, 1-5) on Sunday. Each match is slated for a Noon start.

The No. 16 Auburn gymnastics team, coming off a fifth-place finish at the recent SEC Championship, learned early Monday afternoon that it will be headed to the Salt Lake City Regional, hosted by the University of Utah. The Tigers were selected as a No. 3 seed in the region, and will take on a loaded region that features No. 4 Florida, No. 10 Utah, No. 19 Boise State, No. 22 Denver and No. 23 Washington.

W. Soccer. Soccer Picks Up 1-0 Exhibition Win Over UAB, 1-0

Ana Cate headed in the only goal of Auburn’s spring exhibition soccer match against UAB and Mary Coffed and Julie King split time in net in place of the injured Amy Howard and Caitlin Torie to post a 1-0 shutout on Friday night at the Auburn Soccer Complex.

Auburn University (AU or Auburn) is a state university located in Auburn, Alabama, USA. With more than 23,000 students and 1,200 faculty, it is the largest university in the state, and according to U.S. News & World Report, has a selectivity rating of "more selective." Auburn was chartered on February 1, 1856, as the East Alabama Male College, a private liberal arts school affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal Church, South.
