Bonner Tallies 24 Points As No. 16 Tigers Rout Bearkats, 80-36

DeWanna Bonner scored 24 points and No. 16 Auburn defeated Sam Houston State 80-36 on Wednesday night. Bonner, who played only 21 minutes, shot 10-of-12 from the field and made all four of her free throws. Alli Smalley added 12 points.

About Auburn University

Auburn University (AU or Auburn) is a state university located in Auburn, Alabama, USA. With more than 23,000 students and 1,200 faculty, it is the largest university in the state, and according to U.S. News & World Report, has a selectivity rating of "more selective." Auburn was chartered on February 1, 1856, as the East Alabama Male College, a private liberal arts school affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. Auburn is one of only 13 American universities designated as a land-grant, sea-grant, and space-grant research center.
