Katy Frierson Tabbed SEC Freshman Of The Year, Allison Whitworth Scholar-Athlete

Katy Frierson’s breakout season was properly rewarded on Wednesday as she was named the Southeastern Conference’s Freshman of the Year, First Team All-SEC and SEC All-Freshman Team. Teammate Allison Whitworth was also recognized for her play on the field and her work in the classroom as she was named First Team All-SEC and the Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Julie King was also named to the SEC All-Freshman Team, the conference office announced on Tuesday morning.

Auburn University (AU or Auburn) is a state university located in Auburn, Alabama, USA.
