The No. 16 Auburn gymnastics team (2-5, 2-4 SEC) will host the No. 19 Denver Pioneers (15-5) Friday, March 5 from Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum, in what will be the final gymnastics meet in the coliseum’s history. The meet will also serve as Senior Night for Auburn’s Carmen Nelms and Krissy Voss.

Baseball. Auburn Sweeps Doubleheader From Davidson By Identical 7-6 Finals

A pair of six-run fourth innings gave Auburn just enough of a cushion to earn 7-6 wins in both games of a doubleheader with Davidson on Wednesday at Plainsman Park. Austin Hubbard earned a save and a win on the afternoon while Cory Luckie returned to a starting spot for the first time since 2008 and responded by striking out a career high nine hitters in a no decision.

M. Basketball. Auburn Downs Mississippi St. 89-80 In Final Game in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum History

Auburn defeated the Mississippi State Bulldogs 89-80 in the final men’s basketball contest in the storied history of Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum Wednesday night. Auburn’s six seniors combined to score 78 of Auburn’s 89 points on Senior Night as the Tigers were led by Tay Waller’s 22 points and Brendon Knox’s 21 in the victory. Auburn shot 51.7 percent from the field and 45.8 percent from 3-point land in the win. Dee Bost led all scorers with 25 for Mississippi State, while Barry Stewart added 18 in the losing effort.

M. Tennis. Auburn Opens SEC Play At Home Against Tennessee And Georgia

The 56th-ranked Auburn men’s tennis team hosts a pair of SEC rivals this weekend at the City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center. Auburn will play the Tennessee Volunteers Friday at 2 p.m. and the Georgia Bulldogs Sunday 1 p.m.
